Annual Crawfish Boil
The Crawfish Boil was as good as ever this year. The weather ended up being awesome, and the food was great. The Allvines, Artigues, and Brobsts supplied crawfish, jambalaya, corn, potatoes, mushroooms and onions. Emily and I brought the ice cream (ostensibly for the kids, but the grand ice cream champion was Goolsby who made 3 return trips to the ice cream stand). anyway, kids large and small had a great time.
here mc, celebrates a come from behind victory in the sport of kings (tossing a bean bag into a clown’s mouth).

we took three attempts at getting a photo where bryan and lyndsay both delivered “the goods” and this is the best i got.
i’m not going to repeat bp’s comment from the draft 2 years ago……anyway, and here’s the first official blog photo of em and i together (vs the previous unauthorized photos).
we stayed from 4pm until well into the night and had a great time the whole time. thx so much to the Allvines, Artigues and Brobsts for having us over. we’re thankful for our friends that were able to make it down for the afternoon and look forward to doing it again next year.
