mandy and webster were great enough to fly me down to puerto rico for their wedding. lillis came along as well, b/c, well, there was a wedding, and a beach, and pictures, and mandy……so, yeah, i don’t think i could have kept her home under any circumstances. it was a beautiful venue, a great couple and two wonderful families coming together. here are the first pics from the event. i’ll be publishing a full set of probably 150 or so pics at
charles+camera in the next two weeks.
mandy’s mom susan hugs her sister just moments before the ceremony began.
mandy’s ring is a gorgeous family heirloom (i believe webster’s grandmother’s ring).
we did most of our non-family shots before the ceremony which made for a quick transition into the post-ceremony brunch reception.

they weren’t really leaving here. it just looks that way : )

mandy’s dad walks her down the aisle. i’m not going to say he cried, exactly, but it sure seemed to have been a little dusty in his vicinity.

the ceremony itself was gorgeous. webster’s brother was the officiate.
here they are as they started up the aisle together.
the attendees showered them with rose petals as they came up the aisle.
one of the passages that was read at their wedding.

i hope you enjoyed the pics. thanks.

a beautiful wedding in vieques is in the books…. lil and i had a wonderful time with mandy and webster and their families and friends. great times with great people. we spent time on the beach, kayaked and swam with bio-luminescent thingies and took about 700 pictures. 701 if you count this picture, which is a picture of a picture (pic of the back of my camera taken with my cell phone). i hope later to take a pic with my camera of a computer with my blog post of the pic of my camera from my phone : ) at present lil and i are escaping the heat of old san juan inside a little cafe, aided in part by a pina colada. soon, homeward bound!

there’s lillis….sitting in a first class seat for the 2nd time in her life (first was our honeymoon). she is now terribly spoiled and accustomed to the finer things in life : ) we both are in dreadful need of a day or two of rest. i shoot a wedding on the little island of vieques on saturday morning. i’l spend the flight refining the shot list and site map so i can spend tomorrow on he beach with the princess. i hear some wiffle ball is on tap and we’ll be kayaking bioluminescent water tomorrow night……can’t wait!
