Christmas Card ’09 featuring Lillis

Posted in Us on Dec 24, 2009

Merry Christmas one and all! We’re so glad for all of you who have been a part of our lives this year. Our friends have been wonderfully supportive this year, and in particular I’d like to give shoutouts to Brian, Bryan, Rod and Matt for all their job search help.

It’s been a wonderful first year of marriage, but not one without difficulty. We’re still learning and growing and hope to continue to do so until one of us buries the other. It really has been more amazing than we had ever hoped……moreso for me than for Lillis. She was worth the wait!

Work kept us from making as many trips as we’d like this year, but we did get to take one big trip to California, spending 9 days in San Fran, Yosemite and Tahoe.

Both of us had a sibling get married and I launched my photography website and got to do a decent bit of picture taking this year. I’m back to coaching (15 year olds this season) and Lillis is counseling people in financial distress through our church’s Moneywise program.

We’re currently considering buying a house and just trying to make sure we treasure every day together.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video. Oh, and if you want to watch it full size, there’s a link below to watch it on the Vimeo site……word!

P.S. The Chales stocking in the background still makes me laugh out loud.

Absolutely love the Christmas card – especially the cloud that looks like an elephant. 🙂

Merry Christmas to you guys, budding movie producers and actors!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas holiday. Your card makes me laugh! Glad you can have a good time together. I’m sure you’ve figured out that married life is hard (as mentioned in your post), but it is well worth it when you stay the course!

    God bless you both!

    Donna

i usually try not to really mention what i'm thinking here, as it is my general supposition that no one really cares, but today will be an exception. i'm not even going to pretend that any more than 3 people in america might find me insiteful, but i figured i'd just put it out here. […]
