Small Group Bowling
Not “midget” bowling, though hopefully that video will be out soon….maybe something like “10 Pin Midgetation” – i don’t know. Anyway, the guys from my Small Group at the church decided to welcome Tim to our group by participating in a gay bowling league. I’m frankly as confused as anyone else by this, but anyway here’s the story. We got discriminated against for about 30 minutes while we drank poor, cheap beer. We then proceeded to burn up the lanes – we were on fire, but not flaming, for the record. Team One featured Lafawndah (John Hoover) T-Money (Tim) Brent (Brent) and Ron Mexico (Yours Truly) and Team Two was led (if that’s the right word) by Julio (Adam) PBJ (Drew) and Juan (Stephen).

We lured the bad guys into a false sense of security by playing a sloppy game one and then raising the ante for game two. It was a game featuring near turkeys, and just plain turkeys – a display of bowling acumen at the highest levels imagineable.
This is the story of that game.

we pushed on inexorably and when the game reached its inevitable conclusion, we had won!
