back at camp • 08.05.07

Back safely@ camp – sort of. For a number of reasons, including the possibility of me succumbing to dehydration, we're back at camp. However, we are in a huge dust storm. this has been a real blessing, however, that we decided to come back here to camp. being in the storm out in the dunes and unprotected would not have been good! tomorrow we see the big dunes and head out of the desert.

New record high (for us). 131.4 in the sun 118 in the shade. i'm still feeling pretty rough, so we're weighing our options. Hydrating via melon!

112 degrees at 11:45 but we're resting under a tree right now for a couple of hours. My stomach is bad, but other than that we're doing fine.
