cleanest water in the world? • 08.11.08
look at all the stuff that’s been done to it….filtration, ozone, ultraviolet, reverse osmosis. it reminded me of the scene in “pee wee’s big adventure” where the bikers want to kill him for some reason and they keep making it more elaborate….”no, first we’re gonna shoot him, then we’re gonna hang him, and THEN we’re gonna kill him. of course, pee wee gets out of trouble by doing his “tequila” dance.
in asia u get food, no matter how short the flight. on this one hour ride we got mini-hamburgers (cold), tofu sandwhich, cucumber and a tasty little cake – oh AND the cleanest water known to man. one other thing, did i mention that i had ostrich, snake, crocodile and kangaroo last night? i have to say, the roo was good.
ok, safely in bangkok, i now have a 9 hour layover (and meet back up with the c-man), five hour flight to seoul, 13 hour layover, then 15 hour flight home. wow, i’ll be there in no time : /…….humming simon and garfunkle’s “homeward bound”, my journey continues.

wow, so there's a national department of cults and religons? how bizarre.
i'm now at the siem reap airport sitting on the plane (a prop-job decorated with fish). if there's one thing i hate, it's airport exit fees. you've got your ticket, you've checked in, you're on your way to security and wham! it's "please pay $25 airport fee." c'mon, that's not fresh. oh well, at least i'm not on an 8 hour car ride and doing the flight gave me just enough time to get a body scrub this morning. it felt really good to get 2 weeks of dirt and sweat off me. i'm feeling much better and joyfully beginning the long journey home. next stop bangkok!
