like ben folds – we’ve landed

merhaba from istanbul. just booked some connecting tickets to kayseri (having finally decided cappadocia to be our first destination and that mt nemrut would wait for a different trip). we survived the flight (although we did have to turn around in jfk for an initial repair). we’re both feeling a little better than we did when we left and managed to get about 5 hours of sleep. lillis looks a little bit greasy, but other than that we’re ok. lillis says i look greasy too. first order of business in goreme…..showers!

    Man, what a beautiful piece of luggage! And Lillis’ summary of the day sounded very similar to when you and I traveled to SE Asia, only you didn’t fall asleep during the message! Have fun kids!
